Last week, from Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th May, we visited Clerkenwell Design Week to check out the latest new products to the market and to catch up with our range of furniture and fit-out suppliers. The event annually takes over the design hub of Clerkenwell in London, which is said to hold the highest number of architects per square mile in Europe.
A strong theme throughout the show was the domestication of office spaces and this was reflected in an array of new products. Our first stop of the day was at Knoll’s Showroom – a masterclass in style and luxury, and a great example of how to bring elements of the home into the office with marble tables and statement chairs.
Onto Boss Design and we had the pleasure of seeing their anticipated new product, which didn’t disappoint. ATOM enables the landscape of the workplace to be brought together with one unifying family of products. It is a highly versatile system consisting of various solutions, from both high and low back seating, booths, desking, dividers and more.
Next up we visited Buzzispace and we were impressed with the collaborative co-working tables, BuzziPicNic and BuzziPicNic Round. They also exhibited the interactive concept, BuzziJungle at Design Fields. Challenging the traditional confines of the workplace with this vertical conversation tower, visitors were encouraged to interact with the piece – can you spot our Director, Mark Naisbitt?
