Our latest project saw us complete the fit-out for IAM Sold’s new offices in Gosforth, Newcastle.
IAM Sold are an award-winning property auction company offering bespoke white label auction services to estate agents across the UK and Ireland and work with over 1,300 estate agent branches across the country with more than 10,000 homes being sold so far.
They provide the complete auction solution and offer a full scope of auction services ranging from Traditional to the Modern Method of Auction
Formed and owned by two 31-year-olds, I am sold are poised to report a healthy turnover and profit line to boot, and have grown from a two-man team to employ 70 people with plans to also double the staff head count in the next three years. The firm has big ambitions, having already made it into the Sunday Times FastTrack 100 list in 2015 as the 23rd fastest growing company in the UK.
Part of their expansion plans was to naturally move to larger premises from their previous space which was 6,000sqft into a 10,000sqft office at Arden House in Gosforth.
Their brief for the design and fit out was to deliver a space that is functional, factors in areas for the team to grow but reflect the young culture of the business by providing a modern, and funky workplace that would retain and attract new staff.
The reception has an inviting vibe and feel of a high-end business lounge with soft seating, pendant lighting and LED lighting, refreshment station and TV. We installed timber and brick resin clad accent feature walls and combination of carpet and vinyl floor to give a unique look.
The corporate colours and funky feel is continued into the work areas with Burmatex Balance atomic carpet tiles providing punches of colour throughout the two floors and informal collaboration areas.
To enhance natural light and to maintain the open and clean look of the scheme meeting rooms and cellular offices where installed using frameless glass partitions.
The generous breakout area provides a central hub for the staff to have lunch, recharge their batteries and enjoy a game of pool.
