Our valued client, Northumberland Estates has seen expansion with the business opening a Newcastle office for the first time in over a decade at Quayside House, Newcastle Upon Tyne..

The new premises were recently purchased by Northumberland Estates, from Standard Life, and will become the new city centre base.  Located on the River Tyne and directly opposite the Baltic, it comprises 42,000 sq ft of prime city centre office space. Existing tenants, including KPMG, are to remain in situ based alongside Northumberland Estates, with any additional space to be re-let.

Northumberland Estates have also recently purchased 100,000 sq ft of office space and around 1.6 million sq ft of industrial space – let to around 60 individual tenants, at Wynyard Park. Occupiers include both national and regional businesses such as Conoco Phillips, Wood Group, BP, Cleveland Police, Dunedin, Glamal Engineering, Nortec Oil and Gas, Gleeson Developments and Balfour Beatty.northmberland-estates5

Anthony Cape, Asset Manager at Northumberland Estates, is responsible for the day to day operation of Wynyard Park. He states “We have a vision to create a thriving and dynamic community here, and we are very pleased that Ultimate have come on board, captured our vision and, by working closely with us on several fit-out projects, have really enhanced the office areas that are suitable for immediate occupation by prospective occupiers.
