2015 Project Round Up

Ultimate Round Up 2015

2015 has come to an end, and with it the end of another exciting and eventful year here at Ultimate. We’d love to be able to round up everything we’ve accomplished this year, but we would be here for a long time so we thought it would be better to highlight just a handful of our most memorable projects.

This year saw us combine state of the art multimedia facilities with the careful conservation requirements of a beautiful Georgian period building during the St Philips Barristers project.

We completed a full scale design and build for California based Software Company Couchbase’s Manchester office. Paying homage to Manchester’s rich history with additions such as the ‘Manchester Album Cover Wall’ and innovative Tektura WRITEON walls it was a quirky and fun project.

Sheffield’s stunning Mercure St Pauls Hotel required the full refurbishment of all its 163 luxury bedrooms. To keep the hotel open and operational during the work, the challenge was to complete one floor at a time, starting on the 5th floor we worked our way down to the ground floor. Our task was to make sure every detail reflected the hotels impressive 4-star status and luxury reputation, which we are delighted to have achieved. A challenging but fulfilling project.

Yet another large scale project we completed this in 2015 was for IT Solutions provider Pure Data. To accommodate the growing business, we converted an old mill building in Leeds which was formerly a gym and crèche, into state of the art new office headquarters. We loved working on this fabulous project and can report that Pure Data are over the moon with the finished results, and couldn’t wait to get into their new office space!

Of course not all projects have been full turn-key fit outs. Other clients we’ve had the pleasure of working with this year include: Darlington Credit Union, Air Bus Defence & Space, Yorkshire Water, Calderdale Council, Coniston Hotel & Spa and Shipley College to name but a few.

Needless to say, it’s been a year filled with interesting and challenging projects. From one-off pieces of furniture to huge scale refurbishments, we’re delighted to have been able to share the experience with our partner and clients.

We can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store, so from everyone here at Ultimate, we’d like to wish you a very happy New Year!
