Launched in 2012 and designed by Stefano Soave for Alma Design, this 3-legged product is neither a chair nor stool. The name is made from the words No chair and No stool, inventing Nono! Nono was created by analysing new ways of sitting for the younger generation, allowing you different options to rest whether it is leaning on the chair in a semi-sitting position, partially putting body weight on Nono or generally sitting on the Nono at a bar as an example. This product is perfect for contract spaces and restaurants allowing the user to sit and lean in different positions.
Nono is constructed from strong polypropylene and filled with fibre glass which enables it to be suitable anywhere, indoor, outdoor and UV ray resistant. Available in 4 colours – light grey, white, lime and charcoal stackable and easily movable, the design deserves a round of applause for its versatility and user focused design. In 2010, Alma Design won the ‘Good Design’ award for Nono from the Chicago Athenaeum museum of Architecture and Design, a superb achievement.
