Enriched with Italian design elegance, Alma Design offers beautifully constructed furniture for commercial environments such as restaurants, offices and hotels.
Who are Alma Design?
Founded in 2007, in the heart of the Franciacorta area of Brescia – Italy, Alma Design’s vision is clear. They want to create simple and functional objects, combining aesthetic and technology through sophisticated and accurate industrial processes. All products have informal shapes and have been selected by buyers worldwide to furnish hotels, restaurants, café’s, offices and fast-food chains. The variety of products distinguish the brand and location. Some examples of their clients include the Galleria in Tokyo, the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar, Semib Library in France and the Aura Boutique hotel in Greece. The Head Office building in Brescia is a beautiful design structure itself featuring wide openings and different depths within the building, a statement piece as much as their product design.
Creating a furniture collection that allows the meetings of different worlds, tastes and atmospheres
Designed with a close correlation with fashion, the Scala collection is a tribute to Milan, the home of fashion and design. The Scala armchair has enveloping shapes which are characterised by the pleating of the hand-crafted fabric, just like a fashion haute couture item. The structure is made from metal and painted in a range of different colours. Another design collection is the Magenta. The range is a design collection composed of modular sofa systems, dining tables, coffee tables, chairs and armchairs. The Magenta range visualises the refined and elegant Milanese residences of the fifties. Both collections were designed by Marco Piva – a traveller, designer and innovator who creates stylistic designs.
