COR manufacture almost everything – from frame to upholstered cover – themselves, allowing for bespoke requests to be fulfilled. They also boast a collection of over 400 fabrics and every furniture cover is made by hand by their in-house seamstresses. Their products undergo stringent quality inspections during the production process and are checked under neon lighting ahead of shipping to mercilessly check for any imperfections.
Sustainably sourced beech wood is the base for many of COR’s furniture pieces. With regenerative, ecological, easy to repair and durable properties, their material of choice also ensures the load-bearing capacity doesn’t dimmish, even after decades of use. Waste wood is used to fuel their in-house mini power plant and for heating, which has helped reduce their carbon footprint by roughly 516,000kg annually.
