We love the idea of the new Bubble Hotel that’s just opened in Estonia. The Bubble Hotel is a unique hotel concept which gives guests the chance to feel as though they are sleeping under the stars from the comfort and luxury of a hotel bed.

The Bubble Hotel has been built in the grounds of the Algallika Guesthouse in the Matsalu National Park in Estonia. The owner of the hotel, Ermil Miggur, describes the hotel as a ‘bubble-shaped tent with a see-through roof.’

The beds are intended to give guests a great sleeping experience whilst gazing at the night sky

Once inside the Bubble Hotel the rooms look like most people’s idea of a traditional hotel room but emphasis has been put on the bed. Made from the very best in luxurious yet eco-friendly products, the beds are intended to give guests a great sleeping experience whilst gazing at the night sky. The shape of the ‘bubble’ is inflated by blowing in air through a specially designed system.

Surrounded by beautiful meadows and juniper bushes, the Bubble Hotel is located 20m from the Estonian coast and provides a fantastic view point for birdwatchers as the surrounding area is inhabited by a wide variety of different species.

Similar bubble tents have already been set up in France but the Bubble Hotel is the first of it’s kind to open in Scandinavia and the Baltics. If successful, Ermil Miggur has plans to open up more of this unique and wonderful hotel accommodation.
