Camira Fabrics & Tektura to show at the first ever BCFA Open Exhibition

Two of our valued suppliers will showcase their new designs and creative interiors at the first ever British Contract Furnishing (BCFA) Open Exhibition in Manchester this October.

Both Camira Fabrics and Tektura have been invited to the BCFA Open Exhibition in Manchester’s iconic Bridgewater Hall on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October 2016 – just down the road from our Ultimate office in Salford. It’s a huge nod to their reputation as some of the UK’s best furniture and furnishing companies, and a great opportunity for you to meet them face-to-face.

BCFA Managing Director Jeremy Stein told us, “We are delighted to have this exclusive opportunity to showcase such an exciting group of British manufacturers who will be displaying inspiring new products specifically designed for the contract sector.”

First up, you’ll find Camira Fabrics over on stand 12A. The textile manufacturers weave over 8 million meters of fabric a year, suppling a host of industries, from education to public transport – but here, they’ll spotlight their best healthcare fabrics at the BCFA Open Exhibition. That includes five fabric ranges in their high-performance Halcyon collection and vinyl from their Vita range, alongside some of their latest innovations.

You see, Camira launched their new digital printed fabric range at the Care & Dementia show earlier this October, and this Open Exhibition will be only their second public outing. If you’re in the healthcare industry, go take a look at these two patterned fabrics and a semi-plain piece on woven and suede materials. They’re specifically designed to co-ordinate with Camira’s other healthcare ranges, and so, as you may expect, they’re waterproof, stain repelling and anti-microbial when upholstered onto furniture.

Camira will also introduce you to two luxurious Trevira CS chenille fabrics at the Open Exhibition, innovatively designed to be used as removable upholstery that is, remarkably, shrink proof even up to temperatures of 60°c. These ‘Track and Trail’ fabrics are flame retardant, but more importantly for a healthcare environment, they’re incredibly durable – having been tested to 80,000 abrasion rubs on areas where spills and stains are less likely.

Tektura, meanwhile, specialise in quality vinyl wallcoverings for commercial and hospitality interiors. They offer one of the most extensive ranges on the market, creating 50 new designs each year – all of which can be recoloured or rescaled to suit any interior scheme. Can’t find something quite right for you fit-out project in their unique library of designs? Tektura can conjure up and develop bespoke designs that match your every requirement.

Of course, we wish them every success at the BCFA Open Exhibition. But if you can’t head down to say hello and meet them in person, allow us to introduce you to Camira Fabrics and Tektura. To take advantage of our close relationships with our trusted suppliers, just give us a call today.
