Refurbishment and joinery.
Rather than a modern interior design solution that had no consideration or connection to the exterior and history of the property, we have provided a high specification ‘boutique’ look to transform the entrance, circulation areas, ground floor office suite and basement.
The entrance area has feature panelled walls painted in a warm grey, wall lights, plaster finish ceiling and classic black and white mosaic ceramic floor tiles. The staircase has been decorated and carpeted with upgraded lighting and new entrances partitioning to landing areas.
Sections of the existing 1960’s staircase balustrade on the ground to first floor has been removed and replaced with new balustrading to complement the original that has been retained on other floors.
The ground floor space has been decorated throughout and complemented with Interface Net Effect carpets and walnut perimeter trunking. One of the key features is the installation of a plaster finish ceiling which is framed with perimeter coving and concealed LED rope lighting.
The ground floor suite has the added benefit of an internal staircase leading to a basement kitchen which has been finished to a modern minimalist style with unique bold features including exposed brickwork, anti-slip flooring and industrial lighting. The introduction of communal showers and bike storage facilities to the basement area completes the project.
