Fairstone Group

Our project saw the complete strip out, refurbishment and fit out of Fairstone Group’s new Accrington office in collaboration with Simon Grundy and Louise Roberts of Ward Robinson. Fairstone is a full-service wealth management house that deliver intelligent financial solutions. They are one of the UK’s largest Chartered financial planning firms and their teams offer independent advice, investment management and estate planning services.

Our works briefly comprised of a general refurbishment incorporating ceilings, decorations, flooring, electrical works, partitioning, kitchen works and new furniture throughout.

The newly refurbished entrance zone features Orangebox’s Coze work sofas and Connection’s Kala High Back armchairs; both providing a sense of privacy but with gentle curvatures to encourage relaxation and comfort. Together with Connection’s Flow coffee tables, the area can be multipurposed for collaborative, agile working.

The open plan office space saw the inclusion of Mobili’s Soho2 bench desks paired with Connection’s Muzia lightweight and ergonomically-sound task chairs. The Soho2 creates space efficient workspaces that support technology and tools for both mobile and resident workers with telescopic cable management, uninterrupted leg room and a broad expanse of worksurface.

To create informal meeting areas within the open plan space, Hawk Furniture’s Gianni A Frame indoor picnic tables were specified, complete with flip down cable trays to hide unsightly wires. These were paired with Connection’s practical and versatile Xpresso Curve stools which are lightweight, durable and stackable. Similarly, Connection’s Tryst Booths with integrated work surfaces were added to the ends of main office desking to offer visual and acoustic privacy so users can focus whilst collaborating.
