Digital Marketing and Showroom Assistant

This role will support the work of the Marketing & Bid Manager on general marketing duties including all social media aspects, tender returns, creation of customer files and writing of blog posts. You will also be responsible for the presentation and client experience at our Head Office and Showroom – The Hive.

Experience with social media is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and writing of company blogs and whitepaper content for the website.
  • Weekly content creation and posting on company social channels including, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Use of social scheduling software to pre-plan majority of social activity.
  • Use of the company website chat function to be able to provide customer service assistance.
  • Assistance on the design and production of company marketing literature, such as leaflets, presentations and adverts.
  • Assist the Marketing & Bid Manager with company PQQ’s and tender submissions where needed.
  • Overall assistance of the promotion, organisation and hosting of showroom activities and events.
  • Taking ownership of the Client Experience to ensure that we are offering all visitors a high standard of hospitality.
  • Working with our local deli to provide catering for meetings and events.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Meet and greet showroom visitors.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in Social Channels (LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram).
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • An understanding of SEO and an ability to write effective email/web content.
  • Ability to use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign would be desirable.
  • Industry experience not essential.

This is a full-time role working for a friendly and vibrant business, based in our brand-new Showroom and Head Office – The Hive in Cross Hills, West Yorkshire. Training will be provided and there is opportunity to grow within the business.
