The Office in the Woods by Selgascano has got to be one of the most intriguing office designs we’ve ever seen. Taking the concept of bringing the outdoors indoors to its greatest possible length, this stunning office design, home to Spanish architects Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano, is located in woodland near Madrid in Spain.

The tunnel-like design features a 20mm thick, curved window made from transparent acrylic which forms the north-facing ‘wall’. In contrast the opaque, south-facing ‘wall’ is made from an insulated fiberglass and polyester sandwich, designed to offer shade from direct sunlight.

Ventilation is provided by the fresh woodland air and a hinged opening which is attached to a weighted pulley mechanism at one of the building allows air in and out of the structure.
