One of our latest completed projects has taken us back to a valued customer – PHMG. After previously completing turnkey fit-out and furniture installations at both their Manchester and London Offices, we were invited back to help create a modern breakout area and refurbish their boardroom.
Back in 2010 we completed the fit-out of PHMG’s Manchester Office. Jason Daye, Operations Director, told us “Ultimate became known to PH Media Group back in January 2010 when we had a requirement to refurbish our 500 sqm offices. They were one of four companies who pitched for the project. We undertook a thorough vetting process of all companies which included assessing criteria such as design capability, product knowledge, value for money, project management skills, customer service and on-going Day 2 service to ensure that the nominated contractor could accommodate our current and future needs. Ultimate certainly stood out on all aspects during this process and we moved forwards with them. We certainly weren’t disappointed as they delivered a well-designed and thought out installation which encompassed all of our needs and expectations.”
Following the successful completion of this initial project we have continued to service PHMG’s growing business. Jason told us “During 2012 we identified a new requirement to relocate our Manchester Office to much larger accommodation and we didn’t hesitate to engage Ultimate as our preferred contractor to design and build our new state of the art 1000 sqm offices. Ultimate again approached the project with complete professionalism and care and made our involvement very easy and simple, meaning we could continue with our own business with no disruption. This project commenced in January 2013 and Ultimate completed in a tight well managed timescale of six weeks. We are now operating from our new offices and we are delighted.”
Earlier this year we were tasked with creating a space for staff to relax and hold informal meetings, so it was fitting that the world’s leading audio branding agency would create a retro bar and breakout area within their Manchester Office.
Using the brief provided, we transformed a previously under-utilised area of their office, by installing a bespoke bar and light fitting and an artificial brick slip wall. This complemented the retro arcade games, vintage record covers and large chesterfield sofas perfectly.
In addition to this project we were also tasked with creating a luxury boardroom to accommodate 16 employees. One of the main uses of this boardroom was for PHMG, whose clients include Audi, Coca Cola, Adidas and Tag Heuer, to name a few, to hold video conferencing meetings with their overseas offices. The bespoke walnut table, credenza and black leather chairs really add to the plush feel of the boardroom and matches perfectly with the feature walnut ceiling with recessed LED lighting.
