Ultimate were appointed after a successful presentation to completely fit out Nilorn’s new offices in Cononely, North Yorkshire, consisting of both CAT A and CAT B works. The impressive scheme was designed by Bowman Riley Architects and project managed by Shelby Group. Nilorn have been established in the UK for over 79 years and they create a variety of different labels such as woven labels, personalised clothing labels, printed tickets, packaging, accessories, trims and fashion branding. Their in-house development team deliver creative, intelligent and original solutions and use their skills to assist some of the world’s biggest brands including John Lewis, Lyle & Scott, LUKE, Joules, Atelier Swarovski, Cotton Traders, Warehouse and Lee Cooper.
Working as part of a design team, the project consisted of solid and glazed partitioning, steel and glass fabrications, newly formed toilets with showering facilities, staff social places with bleacher AV presentation space and full M&E installation of services. Additionally, Ultimate provided wall finishes, floor finishes, kitchen with tea points, acoustics, bespoke joinery, AV and loose as well as fitted furniture.
The project has been an absolute pleasure to be involved with and we believe that the collaborative team approach has resulted in achieving a new dynamic, energetic, collaborative and creative workspace for Nilorn and the people who work within the company.
