Ultimate partnered with Bruntwood on a refurbishment project, carrying it from RIBA Stage 2 through to full completion. The scope covered key areas to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. The reception was transformed with new flooring, ceiling, and improved lighting, aligned with Bruntwood’s modern aesthetic. A bespoke reception desk was the centrepiece, offering both a functional workspace and an eye-catching feature. Five sets of WCs were refurbished, offering consistent design and modern finishes across all floors. The stairwells were redecorated to enhance visual appeal while keeping safety and accessibility at the forefront. An underutilised basement space was converted into secure bike storage, supporting sustainability. Kitchens on the 1st and 3rd floors were replaced with modern appliances and improved layouts, providing more functional and attractive break areas. The communal corridors were updated with complementary finishes and calming colours to create a coordinated experience. Designer Ash from Zero Gravity was integral to the project’s success, ensuring the design met original concept standards while overcoming challenges during execution. The final result was a modern, fully refurbished building reflecting Bruntwood’s commitment to creating attractive, functional spaces. From the eye-catching reception area to the practical kitchen and WC upgrades, each part of the building was carefully considered.
