Livin Housing

Livin Housing is a respected housing association based in Spennymoor, dedicated to supporting local communities. They appointed Ultimate for the full refurbishment of their two-storey head office, including design, project management and the supply of new office furniture. The brief required creating a fresh, flexible, agile, collaborative and sustainable workspace while ensuring business continuity for approximately 200 colleagues and tenant visits.

Ultimate developed and executed a detailed phased logistical and security plan, enabling Livin Housing to remain operational throughout the project. Refurbished phases were sequentially completed, with new and retained furniture installed promptly, minimising disruption. Final phases addressed common areas, including restrooms, shower rooms and reception, with out-of-hours work ensuring continuous safe tenant access.

Through meticulous site management by Ultimate’s proactive team, the project was delivered smoothly, achieving zero complaints. Livin Housing now benefits from an enhanced, agile working environment that supports staff wellbeing and productivity, demonstrating Ultimate’s commitment to exceptional workspace transformations.
