Rhodar is a leading Construction Enabling Works company, with a proven track record of delivering high-end projects across the UK. As a valued repeat client, Rhodar once again partnered with Ultimate to deliver the development of its Warrington site.

The business sought to enhance its regional office and warehousing facilities by developing and relocating into the adjoining industrial space, creating a new home for its regional team along with a suite of stylish meeting and training facilities. Through a collaborative design process, we created a ground floor workspace with a mezzanine above, expanding the overall space by 2,500 sq ft. This approach delivered a brand new office environment while also retaining much-needed warehouse facilities.

We ensured that the works enhanced the company’s presence while maintaining a strong focus on ESG credentials. Improved thermal performance, modern M&E systems, and upgraded insulation, combined with the installation of solar panels and EV charging points, have resulted in the building achieving an EPC rating of A. This allows the business to reduce running costs sustainably while futureproofing the building for long term use.

The new offices have significantly improved the working environment, incorporating a combined breakout and kitchen space, a new boardroom with an operable wall to create multifunctional space, and a ground floor retreat room. New WC facilities and essential cloak space have also been added to support the workforce. The first floor features an open-plan, collaborative workspace, complemented by two new four-person meeting pods, providing flexibility for a busy and growing business.
