Wizu Workspace, Newcastle upon Tyne
Following our initial phases of work at the award-winning Portland House, we were appointed to design and deliver Wizu Workspace’s latest exciting location in the heart of Newcastle City Centre. The goal was to create a flexible and functional workspace that blended seamlessly with the wellness-focused and sustainable ethos across five floors of Portland House.
Working with the client, and Cocoon & Bauer, our brief was to ensure the design was in keeping with the main building while maintaining its own identity. This modern, sophisticated space has a vibrancy and energy implemented through the colours, textures and light fittings used. All sympathetically in keeping with the features of the Grade II listed building – a truly stunning workspace where heritage meets innovation.
The fit-out furniture installation included a mix of private offices, collaborative breakout spaces, and focus areas. We installed high-spec meeting rooms, solo working rooms, phone booths and dedicated breakout zones, ensuring that the environment catered to both individuals and teams. The result is a workspace that successfully balances character and functionality while delivering a highly adaptable, serviced office environment for Wizu’s growing community.
