RIBA – The Royal Institute of British Architects – has announced the winners of the prestigious RIBA regional awards 2013 with three projects in Yorkshire receiving coveted awards.

The three projects to scoop the RIBA Yorkshire regional awards were Cat Hill Barn; a fantastic example of a contemporary barn conversion in South Yorkshire, Holy Trinity School in Barnsley; a complex project resulting in a stunning school building with light and airy classrooms enjoying views across the local landscape, and 192 Shoreham Street in Sheffield – a striking addition to the top of an old industrial carriage works.

It’s great to see such eye catching Yorkshire building projects being recognised – further information on the winners can be found on the RIBA website.
