Project Completion: Origin Hub, Wynyard Park

Northumberland Estates are a multi-faceted business based at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. Recent years have seen the organisation move away from historical ventures, putting property investment, development and management at its core whilst still maintaining significant investment in enterprises such as farming, forestry and tourism.

We have noticed that there seems to be a large interest in smaller, good quality office space and this has perhaps been identified and addressed successfully with this project with Northumberland Estates. Working with Anthony Cape, we have created a series of various sized furnished office spaces to the ground floor of unit 2 at the Business Village, Wynyard Park.

The thought behind the different office sizes is simply that it gives a good choice of available sizes for new tenants to consider, flexibility and an option for them to stay within the building should their respective staff headcount expands. The scheme also benefits from a meeting room and a communal breakout space where the independent businesses can network together, enjoy a coffee or simply get some time out from their office space. This space has its own identity with feature graphic walls and a combination of dining and lounge furniture to give the required café feel.
