Project Completion: Michael Poole Estate Agents, Stockon-on-Tees

 

Michael Poole estate agents, a well-established estate agent in Stockton-on-Tees area, approached one of our interior design partners Cocoon & Bauer to provide them with a fantastic concept for their new premises on Stockton High Street.

 

 

Their brief was simple; to produce a design which was different to any other agency in the area. Cocoon & Bauer’s thoughts immediately turned to the customer experience and the first impressions when the public entering the building by creating a more welcoming, informal and homely office area whereby you would feel comfortable in.

 

 

With any interior scheme the correct specification of the furniture can really make the scheme hence our invitation to be involved in the project.  In this case, the furniture needed to reflect quality with an informal and homely design. Rather than the traditional waiting area seating of other agencies, high and low back lounge chairs as well as a large, fuller sofa were utilised. The tub chairs to the workstations soften the formality of the desk and create a more comfortable looking aesthetic. The dividing shelves have a function to separate the space and allow for any documents to be housed, but their domesticated looks add to the design and tied in with the sideboard at the front contrast nicely with the back display units.
