Wilton Developments enlisted Ultimate to undertake both CAT A and CAT B projects working with our design partner KPP Architects at 2 Bond Court, situated in the heart of Leeds city center. This prime location offers excellent accessibility to local transportation hubs and a diverse range of amenities, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, and delis. It serves as the ideal link between the traditional office core and the city’s primary retail district, boasting top-notch amenities and a contemporary aesthetic.
The CAT A works encompassed the removal of existing partitions and flooring on the 4th and 5th floors, as well as the refurbishment of ceilings, redecoration, and the elimination of redundant services, including kitchens. We also reconfigured the existing mechanical system to meet CAT A standards.
The reception area underwent a transformation, featuring new ceramic tiling, extending into the lobbies. Additionally, within the reception fit-out, vTech concrete feature walls were installed, along with tenant and building signage. We also reinstated the main building canopy at the entrance and updated the electrical systems during this process.
Furthermore, we executed a Cat B installation on the 4th Floor, involving the creation of new partitions to establish separate small and large office spaces. The project encompassed the installation of new lighting and electrical layouts, with updates to perimeter power and data. Two kitchen tea points were added, complete with new colourful v-shaped wall tiling and pendant lighting.
The 4th floor was further enhanced with furniture installation, featuring Steelcase ergonomic seating and pyramid desking. We also installed booth seating and a poser table within the kitchen area to promote collaboration within the team. The boardroom has been fitted out with a sleek new table that comfortably accommodates 8 with padded seating. The addition of vibrant accents such as colour block carpet tiles, bespoke feature walls and soft furnishing throughout the area contributed to the overall aesthetic of the environment.
