Ultimate first engaged with Northumbrian Water and their project team in early 2016. We worked with This Is Interiors to propose a scheme for their offices. Each company within the framework had specific requirements and we needed to keep a cohesive design scheme that worked for everyone. We proposed an open-plan office layout, creating various zones to allow for both collaboration and privacy to work alongside each other.
We incorporated flexible and folding walls into the design along with new power and data, air conditioning and ventilation installations and a brand-new communications room. Outside we installed electric car chargers and a bicycle shed.
Ultimate not only met our brief but exceeded it with their creativity and willingness to go the extra mile. The project ran smoothly and efficiently and resulted in a workplace that we are excited to welcome our staff into and benefit from for years to come.

Various meeting spaces, reference areas, touch down zones and quiet pods that have been created using both glass partitions and a variety of soft seating.
The installation consisted of a variety of furniture solutions, from desking, task chairs, screens and monitor arms with laptop holders to soft seating, private booths and lockers. We created bespoke furniture to sit alongside our trusted suppliers such as Boss Design, Mobili Office, Nomique, Creatif and Bisley.
The large canteen area serves as both a breakout area for staff, but also a place where informal meetings are encouraged. The acoustic rafts add to the aesthetics of the canteen area, but also minimise the noise pollution to ensure it is a comfortable space for all.
