This project was delivered in partnership with Summers Inman, a leading Construction and Property Consultancy. The end client, Walkers Snack Foods, is one of the UK’s most iconic brands and a key member of the PepsiCo family. Known for their market-leading crisps and snacks, Walkers operates state-of-the-art production facilities and distributes products to retailers nationwide. As a subsidiary of PepsiCo, Walkers is part of a global network of food and beverage brands committed to innovation and sustainability. This project reflects Walkers’ dedication to enhancing their operational environments to support growth and efficiency.
Building on the success of previous projects of a similar scale, we were invited to collaborate with the Walkers Snack Food Coventry team, alongside Summers Inman, to develop a vibrant and dynamic concept for the following key areas:
We worked closely with key stakeholders at PepsiCo, supported by Summers Inman, to ensure seamless collaboration in the design and delivery process. While the original spaces were functional, we transformed them into vibrant, engaging representations of the Walkers and Pepsi brands. By incorporating the client’s values, vision, and brand identity, we crafted an environment that blends striking graphics, bold colour schemes and tailored fabrics.
Our design process was meticulous and comprehensive, ensuring we addressed every functionality and performance need of this dynamic, multifaceted organisation. A key challenge was striking the right balance between the stringent safety standards required for food production environments and creating a visually engaging, inspiring space that embodies the values of a modern, forward-thinking company.
The client embraced a wide range of cutting-edge products from our suppliers, fully adopting innovative working methods such as agile and hybrid work models and made thoughtful provisions for neurodiversity, ensuring the space was inclusive and accessible to all.
The result is a vibrant, exceptional and truly unique environment. Above all, the design embodies this client’s ‘Better as One’ philosophy, reflecting the unity and vision at the heart of PepsiCo.
