Celebrating Growth
Poppy Wilson Promoted to Head of Furniture at Ultimate Commercial Interiors
At Ultimate Commercial Interiors, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and from that, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Poppy Wilson to Head of Furniture. This achievement highlights both Poppy’s dedication and Ultimate’s commitment to developing the next generation of industry leaders.
Poppy’s Journey from Sales Apprentice to Head of Furniture
Poppy joined our team in 2022 as an Apprentice Furniture Account Manager. From day one, she stood out for her determination, drive, and passion for learning. Balancing her work responsibilities with a Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales Degree Apprenticeship at Leeds Trinity University, Poppy quickly became an integral part of our furniture team. Her ability to apply her academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, build relationships with clients and suppliers, and contribute innovative ideas led to her rapid professional growth.
Reflecting on her journey, Poppy shared:
“I am thrilled to step into the position of Head of Furniture, a role that allows me to bring together my passion for furniture and design, creativity, and leadership. Throughout my career at Ultimate, I have recognised the immense value of learning from those around me, whether it’s from the wealth of knowledge within my team or the insights of our partnering suppliers and clients. What excites me the most about this opportunity is taking on new challenges and creating a positive and motivating working environment for the already excelling Furniture Team.”
Supporting Staff Wellbeing and Career Development
At Ultimate Commercial Interiors, our commitment to staff wellbeing and career progression is embedded in our company culture. We understand that a positive and supportive work environment is essential for the growth of both our team and our business. This is why we place great emphasis on continuous learning, mentorship, and providing clear pathways for career advancement.
Our approach involves combining practical, hands-on experience with structured training and development opportunities. Poppy’s journey from apprentice to Head of Furniture is a perfect example of how we nurture talent from within and create opportunities for ambitious individuals to thrive.
Owner Paul Alexander Commented:
