Following a successful negotiation, Ultimate were appointed by Severfield to refurbish their new premises. As with many clients, Severfield had a strong sense of their objectives and by combining their thoughts with our expertise, we have created some fabulous spaces for their newly established York team.
There were two briefs to consider on this initial project – a space for their marketing and finance teams and an executive suite where the leadership team and CEO could reside on a day-to-day basis. Both were coming from an environment that wasn’t fully equipped to cater for a collaborative approach to work and this was to change.
We have created an executive suite with light and spacious offices and a central collaboration space with a booth and self service kitchen including a coffee machine. On the other side of the floor we have another open plan setting to house the marketing and finance team which also has its own café and meeting space as well as manager offices.
To encourage the behaviour of flexible working Steelcase Sit Stand desks have been rolled out across the scheme as standard. The scheme also included high end boardroom and meeting furniture.
